Leanne joined Heartland in New Zealand in August 2022 as Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Bank Limited. Prior to this, she was Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Westpac NZ’s insurance brand, Westpac Life NZ Ltd. Leanne has 30 years of global experience in banking and financial services, having held a number of senior executive roles throughout Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Leanne has led multi-disciplinary teams of up to 6,000 people globally, including 17 years at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) and 7 years at Westpac.
