Shane Buggle

Shane Buggle is a chartered account and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is currently a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair for BUPA ANZ Insurance, BUPA ANZ Healthcare and BUPA Aged Care, a Board member for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and a Non-Executive director of Monash College in Melbourne. With over 35 years of experience in the finance sector, Shane has held senior roles at Zurich Financial Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the ANZ Banking Group. During his 24 year tenure at ANZ, Shane held a variety of senior positions, most notably Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Group General Manager – Internal Audit, Deputy Group CFO, CFO Institutional and CFO Australia.
